Rules & Regulations / Application
Applications:
Only the first (40) applications received by August 10, 2010 will be accepted into the competition. Applicants must be 3-15 yrs. of age. Individual or group of ten or less will be accepted. Applications must be completely filled out, signed by participant or legal guardian. All applications can be mailed to FL Chamber; C/O Jody Calvert, PO Box 211; Findley Lake, NY 14736 or email to emtnest@hotmail.com. Tryouts:
Auditions start on Saturday, Sept. 4 @ 11:00 am. Contestants will have two minutes to perform a routine of their choice. The original group of contestants will be narrowed down to ten finalists. Finalists will be announced 30 minutes after the round is completed.
Final Performances:
Begin @ 12:30 pm on Sunday, Sept. 5. This will consist of the ten finalists from the day before. Contestants will have three minutes to perform their final routine.
Judging:
Contestants will be judged on talent, originality, and stage presence. There will be three judges all with an equal vote. The FLACC will select (3) impartial judges from (3) different age groups.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for 1st thru 4th place.
